Topic: Building Resilience: Helping Children Thrive in Families Affected by Substance Use

When a parent or caregiver struggles with substance use, children are often among the most deeply affected members of the family. While these experiences can create significant challenges, children are remarkably resilient when provided with the right support, relationships, and resources. This training explores the impact of parental substance use on children  and highlights practical, evidence-informed strategies that help children develop resilience, strengthen coping skills, and thrive despite adversity. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of family recovery and learn ways to support healing across generations.
